1. 1 lb of flank steak
2. 1 large onion
3. 2 cloves of garlic
4. 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
5. 1 ½ tablespoons of dark soy sauce
6. ½ teaspoon of salt
7. ¼ teaspoon of pepper
8. 1 ½ tablespoons of and oil of your choice
9. 1 tablespoon of corn starch
10. ½ cup of water
Slice the flank steak on the bias, cutting into thin strips. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil
in a non-stick skillet. Once the oil is hot, add the onions and garlic to sauté. Just
before the onions and garlic have cooked thru, add the flank steak, oyster sauce,
dark soy sauce, salt and pepper. When the beef and onions are almost completely
cooked, mix the corn starch and water, add to the skillet and cover for 2 minutes.
This will help to make the gravy. When the 2 minutes are up, the dish is ready to
serve.
